Heading Up The Creek

 

I am not sure who had cabin fever worse, us or our dogs this day in May 2010. Our winter had seemed to just dragging on forever here in Central Oregon and our Springer Spaniels were ready to see something besides desert. Or maybe it was the humans who wanted a change of pace.

With a slight break in the weather we took off and went up to McKay Bridge with the dogs. We had our sons dog along as well on this trip. He is a bit larger then our Springers.

With the love Springers have for water this trip was a sheer delight for them. For us the waterfalls we encountered also made it quite a trip. We did not attempt to go all the way up to Paulina Lake since there was still snow, but we are returning there soon.
