Oregon Badlands Photos
The Photo Shoot
Here are our five English Springer Spaniels getting their picture taken. The two puppies are not yet six months old in this picture. Getting them to stop running around The Oregon Badlands to do this looks easy.
So let us take a look at how this all started:
Ellen is working at getting them to move to the right place. Libby is doing a good job of staying in the right position. Lincoln looks like a little boy getting his ear pinched by a parent, but he was simply confused about where he needed to go. Lady, our baby, was clueless about what was going on.
A few seconds later all five Springers are put in place. The moss covered log out in the high desert near Bend Oregon makes a nice prop to go with them. To bad they are watching Ellen and not looking at the camera though.
Notice how three of the dogs are now starting to look more towards the camera. Ellen is moving over towards the camera. The Springers are showing that they can sit calmly, sort of, before taking off to run. The two puppies are actually doing an incredible job of holding at this point.
If you are familiar with English Springer Spaniels you should see what is starting to take place here. They have posed for their picture, and now are starting to lean forward. The black and white tri female puppy is wanting to run to us. The liver and white tri female puppy has already forgotten that we are even around, as she looks off.
To save any embarassing evidience I stopped taking pictures here. It looked like we had such well behaved dogs at this point. So I decided not to destroy that image. I will say within a couple of seconds they all broke loose. I cannot blame them though with all the fun we have out hiking in Central Oregon.
