Leona was born in a litter of eight puppies. Leona is a real puppy and when this story was first started she was only a couple of days old.

The puppies are real

All of the events are based on reality. Changes are made only to prevent the story from becoming to long, after all there is a lot that puppies go through in their first year.

The language used in the story telling will reflect the age of the puppy as imagined by the author. Having said that there are events that might take place that can be very harsh. Since this story is based on what really takes place in the life of Leona there is no certainty about where it will go and what will take place. Dogs are better at adjusting then humans, so no matter what takes place if Leona is given a loving home to grow up in she will be one happy puppy.

Since I do not yet know Leona’s story I am on the same journey as any who might read this. How is she going to get along with the rest of her litter? Since she is remaining with her mom how will Leona do as she meets the rest of the pack? Specifically I want to know how will Libby, our alpha female treat Leona. Then there is her goofy dad, Leroy, will he think she is great fun or will he get grumpy with her?

I have attempted to catch errors while writing this. In real life I am extremely busy so I admit I am not proof reading this as close as I should. Any errors pointed out are appreciated by me, and I am not offended if you note them. This is done for fun, and I hope whoever reads what is contained in Leona’s story has fun as well. Puppies are fun, and writing about puppies is also.
